Picked up something i have causally been looking for for many years. A fireman’s axe.
I know the fire show and movies always show a Haligan tool in the hands of fire rescue but in my day we entered with a pick head axe. Used that and a pike pole after for overhaul operations. Oh and it’s heavy as all get out!

Of course i looked up and read all about the Kelly company and its history. Email address to help identify my axe so will see what he says. Not that i doubt your info but already sent email.

My little "crash axe". Warren Axe & Tool. I think weight was right around 2 3/4 lbs?? Handle is 30". I read that they made these(with shorter handles) for buses. I remember our schools buses had extinguishers but not sure they had axes.
