An old knife given new life?

Just finished wrapping this old knife with some new paracord.

How does the old girl look?......



.....Actually, this is a new knife that I ground this weekend. I decided to do something a little different, and I artificially aged it.

It's a beefy little knife, made from 3/16" carbon steel with a 4" blade and 8-1/2" over all.

Looks like it was made in a high-school shop class. That's not neccesarily a bad thing.
