Got this wedge at a yardsale some time back. I figure it’ll be a fun project.

I haven’t found any marks on it yet. But I figure I’ll grind the mushrooming off and give it a new striking face. Clean it up and maybe even paint it for good measure.

Anyone else salvage old wedges? I’d love to see pictures of such.

This reminded me that I have an old wedge that my Dad gave me. I bet it is at least 50 years old. As soon as the weather clears up, I'm gonna put that beauty to work. Thanks for reminding me of it.

I’m hoping to find a mark on mine. No info as of yet. Don’t suppose anyone recognizes it?

Lots of OLD wedges are cast iron. These tend to chip quite easily, and the fragments are dangerous!
