Here is an oldie but goodie -- serial no. 112 and marked "Nepal" on left side of blade. This is a 12 inch AK weighing in at about 1 pound. It's blade is 2 inches wide and 3/8 thick. The handle has been repaired in a small spot near the center ring -- hardly noticeable. The fit could be improved a little. The finish is good and the blade is exceptionally well hardened -- very close to 60 Rc. Karda and chakma are standard for this size khukuri. The scabbard is lacking the chape but I should be able to find one around here and get Vikash to epoxy it on.

#1) the two Brownings ( one of which isn't here yet ) busted me, and;

#2) unlike the 12" Sirupati, the 12" AK is just so darned good natured, friendly, and eager to please, it's like a puppy that you can't stand to leave home. You gotta let it jump in the truck when you go somewhere.

HI stopped making these til I begged and pleaded and Uncle Bill got a batch going. It deserves to be a regular model and won't be unless OTHERS keep buying them, and they won't do that til they hear someone other than me yapping how comfortable they are to keep around like the puppy sleeping against your feet.
