an online source for inexpensive leather sheath?

Greetings all. Once upon a time, someone here mentioned a site with decent yet inexpensive leather sheaths. They do carry kukri types, or perhaps it was just one type. I even followed up on the tip and ordered from them (paid between $30 and $35). Unfortunately, now I have no recollection of what site it was, nor any records to that effect. I only have that sheath :))

Tried using search - didn't help (btw - is it just me or there are technical problems with "search" button?); and working through gazzilion of results from "google" is one big waste of time..

So. Anybody knows what I'm talking about, or feels like suggesting an alternative? Thanks!

Thanks, Green Ice. You are right though, none for khukuri.. HI Bowie won't fit either, max width they have is 1 7/8

Ken Warner at knifeware.com makes an excellent khuk sheath for his Blackjack Kukri II, which fits practically all HI blades up to about 17". He makes it just for the khuk, or with a side pouch meant to hold his 5" Grunt knife as well. It is very well made. It fits my 16.5" chiruwa AK's perfectly. The single khuk sheath sell for only $32.00. You would have to call them and find out what the double sheath would cost. For that one tell them you want the double sheath for the Blackjack Safari Kit.

Ken Warner has forgotten more about knives than most folks know, and all his knives have razor sharp convex edges. They are based in West Virginia. You can order online at knifeware.com, or call them direct at 304-832-6878.

Regards,

Norm
