An S-Guard Bowie

Greetings All:

I just finished this bowie for a very patient client - he wanted a different guard than I usually make and this is what we agreed on. The solder job on the guard was lots of fun! W-2 with crotch flame figure Claro Walnut, hand rubbed to 2500 grit with a Truoil finish. The clip is hollow ground to zero and sharp. 15 1/4" OAL - 10" BL All comments welcome.

The inlays on the guard are inspirational, it gives the impression that the handle fits into the back of the guard. The whole package is superbly finished.

Thanks Scott - that joint was fun - when you'd get to the point the solder would run downhill - it took three soldering stages to get it right.
