Greetings All:

I just finished this bowie for a very patient client - he wanted a different guard than I usually make and this is what we agreed on. The solder job on the guard was lots of fun! :D W-2 with crotch flame figure Claro Walnut, hand rubbed to 2500 grit with a Truoil finish. The clip is hollow ground to zero and sharp. 15 1/4" OAL - 10" BL All comments welcome.

V/R,

That's a beauty...I really like the inlays in the guard, nice touch on what would otherwise be a lot of blank real estate:)

Appreciate the kind feedback fellas - thanks!

Very nice knife, excellent job on soldering that guard, it looks like it could be quite a problem.

Thanks Scott - that joint was fun - when you'd get to the point the solder would run downhill - it took three soldering stages to get it right.
