Here is a trowel I made for someone special. 1084 blade HT'd and everything, hickory handle. I drilled a two step pilot hole then burned in the handle, bit of 2 part 60 minute and a couple of wedges and it was all set.

I like the trowel, very "blacksmithy"! I really like the use of your decorative punches on it. Don't be fooled, everyone, it's really what's in the background that has most people drooling. Six of them!

Yeah. The trowel's cool and all, but I want to hear a little about those hammer heads, eh Sam?

Not being a farmer I knew little about trowels. Then I researched trowels made by Dutch companies .I was amazed at the variation in size and shape.

Nice job Sam !

There are LOTS of different kinds it's pretty fascinating, each different one for a different little job, long handle hoes too there's all different kinds.

Very good use of 1084. Nice work!

The 1086M from Howard Clark was being used to make mason trowels, before Howard got it.
