Do you guys remember the "Walk a mile in another's shoes" thread last summer? Well, I had sent a Bulldog canoe to Corey Bauhs to use for the "mile".

Well, it seems that Corey thought he had mailed the knife back to me, but hadn't. Last week I got a very apologetic email from him about it saying he would get it right out to me. He didn't really have to return it as I have more, but in any case, yesterday a padded envelope arrived in my mailbox. In it was my Bulldog canoe, but there was also a Henckels whitter in there with it. I can't believe the comraderie and generosity of the folks on this forum. Thank you very much Corey!!!

Here is a foto, not a particularly good one, of the two knives. It still boogles my mind how folks here are always "paying it forward".

Ed,
a few days ago I was thinking the same thing. It's not really a surprise anymore, still every day I find a reason to appreciate the generosity (in gifts and knowledge and advice) of the people here.
Nice whittler...but I'd rather stay with the Canoe myself :)
Thanks for sharing!

That's what makes this place so cool. (Good lookin' knives there, too.)

And Corey's a good guy - I've had business with him before.
