Multitools, I love em.... always thinking of an excuse to buy a new one. Sound familiar? :D

Now my latest objet le desire (pidgin french) is a Skeletool CX. I really like the wharnie style blade in 154CM and of course the carbon fiber. Sexy!

But is it really that good a tool? Just so you know, in the smaller sizes I already have a SOG Pocket Power Plier (excellent little tool) and a LM Pulse (one of the great LMs).

So will the Skeletool be a good buy in a smaller size tool? Let's hear it from the MT nuts!

i carried a skeletool for a few months. I found myself missing the scissors of a full featured multitool. Eventually i upgraded my way to a swisstool spirit x and i haven't regretted it. Paired with a SAK i think the skeletool is a fantastic choice. If you don't need those tools then the skeletool gets an 8 out of 10 from me, I bent the crap out of the pocket clip on mine and had to get a new clip from leatherman. Additionally the pocket clip is a little smooth and doesn't hold very well on some materials.

Yeah, agreed, scissors are essential. I have kinda headed that off by throwing a SAK Rambler onto my keychain. The Rambler has a great pair of small scissors.
