Although the blade carries no kami mark there is little doubt as to who made this khukuri. Nobody makes a one pound 12 inch Sirupati with a 1/2 inch thick blade except Sher. Here is one 12 inch Sirupati that will work as a prybar!

There are a couple of grainlines in the handle of this knife that will probably never go anywhere. Outside of that it is a very decent rig. Fit, finish, hardness all up to Sher standards for those who know his work. Karda and chakma okay and scabbard and frog quite good.

Thanks for the kind words about my leatherwork, Jim. I'll have to see about a rig for this one. I have one for a 16" Sirupati on my mental drawing board & I still have to make a HI Bowie rig for myself.
