Hello!!

I have Never seen a Filing Tool like the one displayed here on ANY Victorinox Pocket Knife!!

Is it a genuine Swiss Made Victorinox? Has this Filing Tool been utilized on other Models? What is the Story behind this???

It’s genuine. It’s the better nail file that was used on some Cadets. “Better” being just my opinion, of course.

Not sure if it was used on other models but I don’t think it was.

Edited to add a pic of my Cadet with the same file.

It Does Seem to work well compared to the Sandpaper Texture file.

I will plan to Check with the Dealer that Sold me this Swiss Knife and see if they have additional inventory of the same Batch. I would Like a backup in case I lose this one!!

You can always get one of those ball chain necklaces that you see on dog tags and feed it through the sak split ring and your pants belt loop then drop the knife in your pocket
Worked for me

I actually preferred the old style. I find the new one digs into the nail to much and binds a little. The old one you could resurface with an electric engraver as well.

This is the current style of file used on 84 mm models such as the Sportsman and possibly on 91s as well. I just wish they'd switch the awful files on the 58s to this pattern.
