Sometime in early '99, there was a rumor that custom maker Harald Moeller of British Columbia was about to retire.

Turns out he had some health problems last year, but he's recovered and has resumed business.

His website is at: http://www.horn-net.com/hmoeller/

Harald is a serious, professional high-end maker. He's also a great collaborator if you're interested in having your own design done up. He's best known for his throwers, so he's particularly good at "heft and balance" issues.

I can't recommend him highly enough. Among other niceties, the in-house heat-treat he did on The Outsider's ATS34 has proven itself - excellent rust resistance, edgeholding, the works. He used the Ernie Mayer/Hitachi recipe.

That's Great news! I had spoke with him last year and he was feeling pretty down and figured he would have to call it quits, I did get a Canadian Frontiersman from him and it throws great! Excellent work!
