My wife and I had a great trip into the Pintlers and thought I'd share a few pics. We started up the West Fork of Rock Ck

anywho we had a great trip and already made plans for another trip to the Pintlers :)

You Sir are a lucky man to have a wife that is willing to wander into the wilderness with you. My wife and I have been married almost 9 years now and I am just now getting her to the point of car camping, but at least she will do that now. She use to be so bad that she would carry bed sheets with us on trips where we utilized hotel rooms. Count your blessings...

You didnt get the grill posted. I love the mountains in Montana. My wife and I talk about a return trip often.

nice pics. i'm not to far from there 'as the crow flies'. there's nothing quite like fresh MT wilderness trout;)
i plan on doing a little 'surf and turf' trip into the bob once bow season opens.

Nice pics man...The scenery is amazing.

Those are huge mountain trouts! The ones ive caught in mountain lakes do not get that big. What did you catch it with?

I'm with Dipbait, looking to see the 1 oz grill!

Great pictures - I can't wait to take my family out; we were in the Tobacco Roots last month and it was incredible...

great photos...looks like a grand trip! I spent some time close to that area outside of Red Lodge, MT back in the mid 70's..truly beautiful part of the country!

thanks gents :)

yes- very lucky to have a wife who shares my love of the outdoors, she wants her own pack rod now :D

whoops on the grill pic

the grill is a diy project, the one aluminum tube is a portion of a Easton arrow shaft, found another just slightly smaller diameter aluminum tube at Ace Hardware- the grate portion are titanium spokes I found on sale at a BMX shop- the one smaller tube fits into the arrow shaft and all the spokes fit into the smaller tube for one small package

The Anaconda-Pintlar is amazing. I hiked there a lot in the seventies. Great pics, thanks for bringing back good memories.
