Analysis of Published Journal Article on 8Cr13MoV Knives

Just asking what makes it a journal vs a website with some articles? A journal is normally by volume and in print for a fee, copies in the library, ect...
 
sadly - all scholarly publishing since a fairly long time now has been getting more and more ... laxidasial ... and often simply purely 'for-profit' without high integrity of peer review

it's a really big problem academia needs to seriously address, or all real credibility is out the window
this affects medicine and pharma quite seriously (and most fields really)
