Last week I took my family on a trip to Orlando and while we were driving East on I-10 we passed two flat bed semis loaded with wrought iron anchor chain. This wasn't ordinary run of the mill anchor chain either, the links of this stuff must have been around twentyfour inches long and the wrought iron must have been at least 3 inches in diameter! This stuff was humongous! Each link must have weighed close to 100 lbs. One of the trucks also had a part of some machinery that was used in handling the chain as well. Just thought I would share that unusual sight, I can't imagine where this load was headed to or what it's intended use might be. Needless to say I was salivating at the sight of all the wrought iron! :D
