Not often seen battle blade by James Williams of Bugei Trade. Made several years ago for SpecOps folks. Flat-ground scalpel sharp and needle pointed! Quite a slicer.........

I love those blades. I have one of the originals and am waiting for the CRKT version to show up. I love how the sheath has the diamond sharpener incorporated into it. The adjustable belt loop/hook is neat too. I know the blade gets a lot of bad press for the marketing and lack of guard. I think the non guard complaints come from folks who haven't held one as the handle tapers towards the pommel so the hand won't slip foward. The texture of the grip also helps keep your hand where it's supposed to be.

Right on Bill! :D

I picked this up here a couple of years ago here on the Forums and have never seen another one since. My original sheath had the blade tension adjustment over tightened so I made a call to James and he sent me TWO new sheaths for replacement.......without the diamond sharpeners though. ;) Seems as though they have the sheaths but no knives..... :(

I'd love to just see what the custom, handmade versions looked like.........if any were ever made.

I always liked the original version od the Hissatsu. There is a low priced version of this knife now being produced by CRKT.

..........I forgot what they named the damned thing.

I get a kick out of it. A little too ahead of it's time in some ways, IMHO.
