Again I left the stats at home, boy I can be so dumb sometimes.

This here is a Lachu made knife that Yangdu's father Pala put a handle on over here. I believe it's walnut, almost certain it's walnut but without DNA I got nothing solid to back that up with.

This one would be handy around the kitchen at home or in the woods. Solid knife with one big fuller which makes it kind of nice.

I worked over the handle some, added a copper liner for the lanyard hole and a lanyard.

This one has no sheath.

Some pictures before you turn the set off listening to me babble and ramble.

Per discussion with Yangdu we'll start this one at 75 bucks. Run until next Sunday at high noon.
Place bids right here in the thread.

And the other half of my gosh durn cute grandkids. What a pair. She's 2 and already smarter than me.

My bad. Fixed it. I got a memory like a steel trap, nothing gets in.

Very very cool handle. Don't think I can scrape together the funds, but if no one bids I may have to break a piggy bank or 2. Not mine of course, those are already used up

The handle weighs virtually nothing. All the weight is in the blade. Very bow heavy in a nice sort of way.

But now that you brought it up I better pop it back on the scale tonight and make sure I wrote stuff down right. Anymore one never can tell.

I'm from Missouri so I never lie, at least on purpose anyhow.

Dave, I suspect it's partial-tang, which partially accounts for the weight, or lack thereof, and part is due to the big fuller mentioned. I for one believe it's under 7oz, but I guess we'll see

It is in fact 6.8 ounces. It is partial tang and there's a black spot on the bottom of the handle where the laha was forced out. I actually like to see that since it insures that there's plenty of binder in there. It feels rock solid.
