Like always the Blade Show was fantastic and like always the week following has been busy. I thought I would share a few of the customs I got the see last week. If I am in error about any labeling, please forgive me; a lot of knives were on display.

Thanks to all the great custom knife makers that allowed me to photograph their wonderful work. These makers make the Blade Show the knife event of the year.

Thanks, Melvin

(P.S: I even took a few home for myself.)

Melvin, Nice pics.

The pic of the knife by Jan Slezak of the Czech Republic does not do justice to the work that was put into it. You really need to hold it to see what I mean. The entire knife is one piece of steel that has been carved. There are 3 dimentional carvings of a grasshopper and a praying mantis. It is simply amazing.

Gentlemen, You're Welcome. I remember what it was like not being able to attend and wishing I could see all the wonderful custom pieces on display and even purchase a few. I wish I had the time to post more.

The knife makers were really great to talk to and allowed me to handle and photograph their creations. Thanks.

Melvin

Wow, thanks for the poctures Melvin! You sure take nice photographs! It's interesting to see what I'd be up against if I ever get to Blade.

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!
