Couldn't put my paramilitary back together again. ;)
So, I recently took apart my paramilitary 2 in order to clean it, and scrape some gunk that got under the pivot over an extended period of use.
Taking it apart was simple, But putting it back together is what I'm not quite grasping.

After assembling the knife as it was before, or as close as I could get it, I noticed it had some side-to-side blade play.
A few differences I noticed between the factory assembly and my attempt at reassembly is that there's a slightly larger space between the tang and the liner/scale.
This caused side-to-side as well as a looser pivot, which led me to tightening the pivot screws.
This is all fine, it operates similarly to how it did before, except now the sound isn't as "sure-fire" and "confident" if you catch my drift, it opens with a sad "click."

The solution (I assume), Is to take the knife apart, and squeeze the tang closer to the scales, then screw in the pivot + blade stop.
I would like to know what the standard procedure for putting a paramilitary 2 together (or any knife of similar construction).
Or if there is a video I can refer to that would be even better.

Thanks,
Alex.

I know what you mean, sometimes when I am reassembling one, I loosely tighten the screws then open and close the blade. Often it will "click" into place and then I can reassemble correctly.

Are you sure you have the pivot in correctly? On one spot of the pivot, there is a little flat spot and that spot mates up with a flat spot in one of the liners (only one of the liners has the flat spot). I'm not exactly sure what is clicking into place when I do this, I think it is the stop pin.

Try it again and be patient, you will get it :-) Good luck!
