I ordered a tube of Proraso shaving cream with my new straight razor. Do I put some in the scuttle, and then use it as I would the hard soap I have used up until now? Thanks for all the help for this newbie folks!

Almond sized bit of the product in a mug or scuttle and whip it with a damp brush after soaking the brush for a few minutes. You'll find it lathers into a nice body with considerably less effort than most all soaps.

I apply directly to my prepared brush and face lather.

I've also rubbed it in my hands with a bit of water, and then rubbed onto my face. Then lathered with the brush, if I had one. I've done without it when traveling.
