This morning, very peacefully. Slipped away between one breath and the next. Memorial service likely in about a week, once folks can be gathered.

I wish I could have been there; it's a bitch living 2 days' drive away. But the crowd will trek out for the memorial service. As the resident musician, I'll be expected to sing something; to be honest, I'm not sure my throat will cooperate. We'll see.

He's home. And glad I am, for his sake. Thanks to this crowd, for the smoke and support.

I'm sorry Tom, and yet like you, glad for his sake that the suffering is over. I hope you have many happy memories. Hold on to them and sing like he is in the front row..........which he is now.

Take care,

I'm so sorry, Tom. Smoke and prayers going up to easy his journey and for the family he left behind.

My condolences Tom but remember that now is the time for the living. Make sure that everyone (including yourself) is OK. Take care.

Sweet peace. Tom, thank you for trusting this forum with your father, and blessings to him now departed, for all of your family with you still.

Tom, it's good that he went easily. Smoke for you, and the others left behind.

Our thoughts are with you and to offer our deepest sympathy in your loss.
