It looks like this "economic stimulation" program has been working as far as the knives I've been bidding on. The prices have been rising quite rapidly on defunct knife companies. As a collector, I mainly go after knives that aren't made anymore. As a user, I'm always looking for the perfect edc. New knives from the newer companies seem to be holding their prices, but the demand appears to be in companies no longer in business. In the last year prices of Schrades has almost doubled. Camillus isn't far behind. People are definitely willing to pay for something that was Made in USA.
