Here is another version of the Everest Katana. The pix pretty much say it all. The sword is the same blade but the handle is a chiruwa style and carved horn as shown. The reddish color on the black horn is polishing rouge.

The scabbard is horn decorated with "white metal" as the kamis call it and not silver. Quite sturdy and excellently done.

Price for this version will be $350 and this one is already gone.

Email if interested.

And did you know that we make khukuris, too!

Now you're talkin. Hell, Uncle Bill, I still can't afford your "poor man's" version. That is a great looking sword and scabbard. Is that a dragon carved on the handle?

Can't afford not to go for the kotimoda for the price difference. Too bad I can't even afford the cheap one either. Face it, I'll end up with both of them anyway... don't send them Uncle, I'm not thru conniving how I'll work this.

WOW! I think I like this one even more than the silver mounted one. I'll resist temptation for now, but some day...

Uncle, could the "white metal" be nickel silver?

Brian,
This one has your name on it! GO on, get one, you know you want it, you deserve it,"heck, you've earned it"!I CAN HEAR IT CALLING YOUR NAME! It needs you! Maybe if you get one it will keep you off the keys long enough for some one else to get "one" of the K'S Uncle gets in! Now if I can only get Blues off, then.....!

Thanks for thinking of me, Jim.

As I said though, I will hold off... for now.

...Maybe if you get one it will keep you off the keys long enough for some one else to get "one" of the K'S Uncle gets in!...

Gee, that's a pretty good attempt at misdirection. Too bad it didn't work.

IIRC, you just snatched one up, didn't you? Then again, it has been about a month since I got a new one. Hmmm...

My apologies to the forum, I was the one who leaked the news to the sword forum.

On the bright side, maybe this means there will be more Kamis and facilities devoted solely to the katana

Your order has been placed, James, and you are number two on the wait list.

And, no apologies necessary, but rather thanks for helping spread the word.

The quality of the katanas improves with each shipment and it is consistent from blade to blade. The kamis have got the system down!

Stay tuned!
