thanks to all for pointing out to me that I do not have a knife buying problem. Until I found this forum I thought I may have gone to far in buying knives that started years ago. Now I know I am normal. The problem is I did not own a Becker until reading about them and had to order a BK2, thanks. One question, why does people strip the knife? Is this just cosmetic or another reason? Doesn't matter as I am sure I will be doing it soon. You have also convinced me that the piece of wood (spieces unkown) laying around in the garage would work well for the handle. Thanks

aesthetics and less drag. If you were careful you could strip just the bevels and get all the benefit while still protecting the rest of the steel. It would look awesome too. I'm so glad you decided to do this - and post the pictures. What a great fella you are. Those pictures are gonna be great. :D

Like this. Granted this is on a -3

Welcome to the forum! A lot of people mod for the reasons already stated and some just mod because they can. It is a lot of fun customizing your Beckers and making them your own. There is a tremendous amount of knowledge on here and some really great and generous people.

Yeah, those pictures will be fantastic! Welcome to our little corner of the asylum.

As it was said before, you can't trust a knife with a coating on it, no telling what kind of secrets it is hiding under there. ;)

problem? what problem?

i have Ethan right where i want him :)

Bladite! Let Ethan out of your basement! We went over this before! You can't keep him down there!

He's not in Bladites basement anymore, I heard he found a Biscuit and cut his way out, then he ran into an elk that wanted to him and was rescued for alterior motives by a Moose.

We don't have knife buying problems----we usually have finding the fundage to buy all the knives we like problems ! Welcome to the madness my friend. :D

i enjoy knives as much as i do firearms, so sometimes when i feel i need to be treated i buy a new knife simply because i cant afford a new gun. that makes sense....doesnt it?

uhh... you are welcome? you found yourself a support group in your knife buying addiction, but there's no rehab that I'm aware of.
