This is one a recently completed, and it was a custom commission. The client said he wanted a bowie, but since he felt stag was overdone,he wanted something different.Well, I like to think I do different pretty well,so I told him of this idea I had. Here is the results.
10 inch blade of random damascus with forge texture and deep copper etch,Handle is bear jaw and fittings and D Guard frame are heat colored wrought iron. The frame has filework, and the jaw scales have copper pins and liners.
The sheath has a beaver tail inlay, copper nugget dangle, and a bear tooth focal point.Photos by our very own Chuck Ward.
Normally I don't do thumnails, but since I'm having problems with Photobucket
,it's the best I can do for now!
