And now, I own one.

I now own a Mnandi (English Walnut). I've played with and admired CRKs before, but now I finally have one of my own and I think this is going to be the end of my personal knife buying (at least as far as locking folders go). It fulfills everything I need in a knife and my other knives fill every other concievable eventuality. I don't need to mention the quality. Its the right size for me and the aesthetics are spot on for my needs. I can one hand open and close it with ease and it'll cut anything I want cut (although my hands were trembling too much to do the usual shaving test, the cutting ability its shown so far is truly awe inspiring). I can ask no more from a knife and I feel it'll last long enough for me to pass it on. For me, its perfect.

Obligatory photo below. No I WON'T be buying any more CRKs for now. One is more than enough.

Wow..awesome, i love the walnut; very rich looking. Good luck with it and enjoy. p..s you know a sebenza is on your mind, come on admit it; we have all been there. :D

The Mnandi is one of the really great designs to come along. It s one of only three oversized "nick" opener I know of including the old Spyderco Jess Horn C27, and Bob Lum's custom folders.

A great intermediate size folder, and the grain of the walnut on yours is particularly nice.

Yes, there is a Mnandi in my future plans. Your's looks great. Enjoy it.

No sorry, a Sebbie isn't on my mind atm. I like them a lot but they aren't "me", they just don't fit with what I need. Maybe a limited edition large one in the far future...

I must credit the beautiful photography to Guy Lemakos, the eBayer I bought this off of. He also has a lot of other CRK knives on sale but I think its best if I don't advertise ;)

For those of you owning or planning to own a mnandi, I'm currently talking to a sheath maker about a leather wallet/sheath. Let me know if you're interested, because I don't know how big a run he's going to make. That said, the clip is a brilliant piece of design. Kudos to Chris.

AIIIEEE!

Off EBAY!!!!!

That's the one I wanted, and didn't get!

Oh well, still in the family so to speak.

That English Walnut looks very nice! The Mnandi is a great little knife. It's a great worker.
