Here are some of the blades I will be bringing to Boise this weekend.

First I finally finished Big Brother from a previous post. Tight twist 13.25" blade with Chalkte Viga handle. The handle will deepen in color with age.

Next is what I call my Ravens Wing Feather pattern. Nice short hunter utility

And for a little W-2 action with wild Hamon and some more chalkte viga

A stubby little utility with a 2.375" blade and elk antler tine handle

And finally my first try at a 6 bar Turkish Twist with blackened wrought iron and premium Desert Ironwood.

Chuck, This is one of the largest groups of knives I have seen from you. There looking really good! See you Friday if not sooner.

Thanks all. I am lucky I had a bunch of blades ready to put handles on. Was hoping to get a couple more done but that's life. Hey Ray, I will be calling Mike when we get into town if you want to do dinner. It will be about 7 or so I think. You driving alone??

Just me and myself making this trip. I just hope we don't get lost. I'm guessing I should get there around 6pm or a little sooner. Are you flying again this year?

Thanks for all the feedback. The show is now over and unfortunately all my knives are still available. I will be posting the ones I did not send to Custom Knife Gallery with Dan. It was a good show and hope to see more of you all there next year.

Were there not many buyers there? What made the show good, comradery?
 
Phil,

The combination of a new show and poor economy made it difficult. The show was a bit slower than last year and money is tight. I think Dave did his job advertising. Now we need to convince more people to part with their hard earned $$. It's tough and not just at this show.

It is always great to meet the faces we talk to on the forums as well as new friends we make there. Then talking knives with one another and solving the worlds problems;) is always fun. I will be there once again next year.
