I just won a spiffy new Jot Singh Khalsa off E-Bay, and it ships today. Providing the brown truck gods are smiling on me, I should cut the tip of my finger off on Friday afternoon

I've looked at this knife in the past, and always thought it was a little too weird, but at this price, I couldn't pass it up. I thought that Mike had a good price in his WOW closeout sale, but this was about 15 bucks cheaper, and plain edge to boot

Any other Khalsa owners out there? What's your opinion?

It's a very nice knife. Very comfortable and that's what sold me. The only gotcha is it's wider than most folders so when you have it in your pocket you notice it more and there's less room for other stuff.

The ironic thing is the day I got it I originally set out to get a Benchmade Sentinel. After looking at a few Sentinels, heh, that's another story, I picked up the Khalsa.

I paid $80 for mine, but that was my Pre Web days.

well, I suppose it wouldn't be polite to mention what I paid for it on e-bay, let's just say I was the only bidder

I'm really itching to get my hands on this knife. I'm lucky though because I have a JD Smith coming today which will tide me over for a few hours

My JSK is the only knife I've had arrive that hasn't been 100%. The lockup on mine is very poor - it won't lock securely with thumb opening, but will only with the grab the hole and flick the wrist method. Can't really afford to send from Australia to be fixed and don't want to lose it as its numbered. Will have to fix myself.
The most dissappointing knife so far, really.
