Amtrak made too many of these balance models which arrived yesterday so I'm going to sell a half dozen off at $45 delivered -- lot of knife for little price.

The kid does good work at Sarge, Hoghead, Mamav and other will confirm. 13 inches and 12 ounces of very good khukuri. Good work by village sarki.

You know the deal so email to take advantage of it and thank Great Uncle Frank for less that 1/2 price.

Sarge will indeed confirm that Raju hammers a sweet blade. If there's still one left y'all had best jump on it. I absolutely love mine, wouldn't trade it for nothing, it's got something special about it that's hard to describe.

Just by chance I've got 3 Amtrak blades so far, and I can confirm that the guy does great work. The only other blades I have are by Sher and Kumar (for now!), but Amtrak's work is right up there with them. My 21" Chitlangi is still my hands down favorite for balance, workmanship and an indefinable "feel" that I just can't explain. Maybe it's the big handle with the swell at the butt. All I can say is that when I get ahold of it, I walk around with it and almost forget it's there. People talk about the Kobra and Sirupati for martial arts work, but this big Chitlangi feels more balanced and fast than either of the smaller Siru or Kobra that I have.

Yeah, didn't figure it was worth the bother though, I'm sure UB's busy and I'm in no real rush. Got one of the balance's listed last friday (arrived today) and after handling it all day I think I'll give it as a gift to my brother, it handles easy and seems that it would be good for someone new to khukuri use. However, it then leaves me in need of another one for myself ;)
