My first Custom Shop score along with a user DSF and mint Halloween Jack, both of which I got from BladeForums users for a great price.

The Custom Shop order consisted of a Halloween Gladius, Urban Camo BWM, and Satin SFNO. I am happy with all of them, however, the SFNO is my favorite of the bunch. The wide grip and heft of the blade just won't let me put it down. The Gladius, as with a lot of knives for some reason, ended up being smaller than I expected. That is by no fault of Busse, but maybe because I am 6' 3", 250 (I should be 210, damn you hotwings!!). Its more like a large knife than a short sword, but its cool none the less. I may grab a satin model later if I can, but I couldn't justify the price tag this round. If I see one at the Blade show, I will buy it!! The BWM is a fast blade, I know now that I need to request wide/magnum grips on every custom order from this point forward. I like the blade, I just wish the grip was wider like the SFNO.

Please excuse the crappy picture, my better cameras are either put up or have dead batteries. I plan on posting some more appropriate "knife porn" in the near future. I do have a thing for orange hence the orange guitar pick in the center. You can see the handles of my swamp rat Waki's on the carpet. I have several swamp rats already, the addiction hit me with a vengeance.

BTW, I am wanting more knives already and have yet to hear back from Garth or Lexi, hint, hint. Torture is not cool!!
 
That urban camo on the BWM is SCHWEEET!! :thumbup:
 
You've got a very nice collection. Not sure which one I like best. I'm thinking the SFNO since I have a thing for satin and orange.

Its a fine blade and I am happy with the colors. I do plan to use this one for sure, just need to find a sheath.

The Gladius actually looks bigger in this pic than it seems when I am holding it. I guess the camera adds 10 pounds to the sword and 20 pounds to my head. GOOD GOD!! Why didn't someone tell me my head was so big!!??? :) (Spaceballs quote, sorta)

RussMo: Yep, I love Orange!! Expect a lot of Pumpkin/Halloween style Busse's and kin to join my collection.

I am the BWM's mother and I demand his little cousin back!! That little guy looks mean, Jaxx. I like it.

Yeah, my mistake. That was a Rucki and Waki hiding in that pic. There was another Rucki and Waki down there as well for a total of 4 Rat swords. I have found it easier to obtain Rats than Busse's in the last month, but I like them both just the same. As I wrapped up my classic SOG collection, I was hoping to be out of knife collecting for awhile. I guess not... :)
