Apparently, this is how the sickness starts. I've been looking for a large Classic MM on just about everywhere on the interwebs, with no luck. A couple small ones and some with inlays, but this will be a EDC and user knife, so nothing fancy or too small.

My regular EDC for the last 8 years or so has been a Buck 882 Strider/Tarani that I can't speak highly enough of. I used a trainer version at a fighting class with Steve Tarani and since then, I was hooked! It deploys as smooth as butter, locks up tight, and zero blade play, even after all these years. Right now, it's with Buck, and hopefully, they can reprofile the blade after I messed it up on a sharpener. I sent it back another time after I took it into the ocean and forgot to give it a good cleaning afterwards, and the liner rusted up in spots. Instead of repairing the liner (I would have paid for it), they sent back my knife, AND a brand new one! Talk about keeping a customer for life!

So it's been a while since the Buck is in for repair and I've been itching for a carry knife. Looking around, I stopped at the Sebenza. It appears to be the right size and the quality is unquestionable. Not being able to find a used one, I placed an order for a large Sebenza 21 last week. The waiting is just awful! Original ETA was 2-6 weeks. I called today and good news! They said a shipment is on it's way to them, so I should be seeing it shortly! Christmas in March! :D

Definitely a shift in the style of knife. Normally people would jump from Buck Strider to Strider :P

Either way you're getting a great knife with great build quality. I'm sure you'll be happy. It is worth the wait.
