And so the wait begins!

Well I did it, I ordered my first hawk and I am a little excited. I decided to go with a Turner Iroquois. I wanted a good eastern style hawk to fit in with my surroundings. I plan on mostly using it for chopping a little campfire wood, slashing a few zombies and chucking it at a log from time to time. I am pumped, Dana said it shouldn't be more than a couple of weeks or so but that seems like an eternity when there are zombies on the prowl. Thanks for all the great info on the site guys!

Time always slows down when you are waiting for something. Its worth the wait they do nice work....

It felt like months went by while I was waiting for a Roger's Ranger hawk from them, but it was only two weeks I think.

But, it's definitely worth the wait... he sure makes a fine hawk.

I look forward to pics. ;)

I can relate. I think I have waited about six mental months. Maybe only two or so actual but I knew that going in. I can't wait to run through the woods of CT with my hawk. I will shout "stay alive, no matter what occurs" to my girlfriend just as I step out of my truck and run off into the woods leaving her to wonder just exactly what happened.
