I just got my BK11 yesterday and its a damn fine piece of gear, though smaller then I expected. I thought I'd show her off before I strip her and do god knows what else:D;). Any ideas for mods??? I think it'll look nice with a dull satin finish and a OD 550 wrap. I know this is a pretty pointless thread but I wanted my BH brethren to know my family has gotten bigger by 1...and soon to grow more when I get my BK2 just after Xmas. And yes I know I'm missing my middle nut and bolt. When I bought the stainless ones I didn't think tow get 2 packs of 2, duh:rolleyes: And you can see my fiddling with a random piece of leather cordage on the handle, its nothing permanent just boredom.

Nice!! All you need now is a BK2 or 10 and you'll be set for most anything. :)

Very nice, I had my 14 wrapped for a while but kept getting paranoid what getting caught under it so I made some scales. Maybe get some micarta for it our try your hand at making some.

If I had a grinder, dremel, or even a sander I might but I'm not very stocked on good tools. Though I did see a guy who cut like a hundred small chunks from a burlap sack and made some micarta with it and it looked really cool. If I did I would want it to have the actual burlap or canvas texture just like, but even more so than the ontario/esee stuff. There's a guy on Ebay right now with tons of BK11 scales and some BK14, BK2/7/9 sets too.
