I just got this Natural Outlaw in a recent trade (thanks cerberus!). Just had to show it off with the new Kenny Rowe sheath that just came in!

I really like the NO! It's a really great size - handy, but big enough to handle almost everything. Ok, here's a question for all you Kenny Rowe sheath owners out there - how do you loosen these things up? The sheath is so tight, I have to force the knife in there with mucho force. Forget a smooth draw... I have to yank it out! Anybody got any tips for me?

Yeah, use the knife a lot! Pulling the knife out of the sheath and putting it back in should do the trick in no time flat.

I have this problem all the time with Kenny's sheaths. Not really a problem, since I would rather them be tight than loose, and it is easily remedied. All I do is carefully slide a big honkin common screwdriver inside the sheath and carefully wiggle it around a little. Gentle prying is what is called for here.

Nuce score on the sheath. Now see, that is what it is all about. Fellow infi addicts helping eachother out. Now someone cough up a BA-e for my mistress!

Yours in nuclear ergo badger searching

By default Kenny makes all of his sheaths fit extremely tight under the assumption they will get used heavily right off the bat. It only took me about two months to get the leather worn in enough that I didn't have to "force" the blade.

However for future reference. When I order sheaths for collection pieces I ask Kenny to use a relaxed fit. All of those sheaths slip on and off with one hand.

I see by the post date, that this has been here a few days. I don't know how I missed it:confused: That is one heck of a cool setup! Sweet knife, sweet sheath!

Thanks a lot for all the compliments guys! I've just been carrying the knife whenever I can and using it a lot, and the sheath has loosened up a bunch. It's still tight, but just tight enough to retain the knife well.

This sheath/knife combo is well on it's way to becoming a trusted companion. :)
