What do you mean you almost didn't throw your hat in the ring? You're registered and you've posted 421 times - you don't have to do anything else to be entered in the contest. Am I the only person on this forum that actually understands how the giveaway works?

Sheesh! Go here to read how this works: http://www.bladeforums.com/prizes.shtml Then on the second page of rules: http://www.bladeforums.com/prizes2.shtml Read number 6 in particular. Every member is assigned a random number. The thread you linked to, where Mike asks for numbers, is used to pick the winner out of everybody. See, that's why he asked for a number between 1 and 7503 - that was the total number of registered members at the time of the drawing. Posting in that thread is not entering the damn contest. If you hadn't posted, it wouldn't have made any difference. Endura Duck had already picked the number that had been assigned to you. You had already won.
