callahwj from Syracuse NY with his suggestion of TACHYON.

He must of known I am an Theoretical Astrophysics buff.

A Tachyon "'ta-kE-"än" is a hypothetical particle that can only travel faster than light.

What a fitting name for the fastest, best production made butterfly to ever hit the street.

He wins one of the first production pieces and we will announce when they will be available. We are shooting for early fall. Prototypes will be unveiled at the Blade Show at booth #65

TACHYON...

Excellent. I like it.

It's not as good as "The Martha Stewart Folding Kitchen and Garden Tool by Microtech" (available in the kitchen section of K-Mart stores nationwide) would have been. That would have been a good thing. But, I understand that it would have taken time to work out all the licensing issues and so forth. I was, however, looking forward to seeing Clay as a special guest on Martha's show.

Anyway, congratulations Mr. callahwj (dang ferin' names). It's a great name. I can't wait to see the balisong that will bear it.

Congrats to the winner!

However, so far all we have your hints at what might be, but nothing even close to a prototype, as far as I know.

But, I'll give you this; you can sell and promote. Look at all the excitement with nothing more than hints at what might be.

Since I cannot follow through, perhaps I will email some thoughts and ideas which may be laughable and not viable, but may spark an idea which you and your associates can transform into something viable.

Of course If I do, you can expect my typical rambling off subject, hard to follow style, but that's the way I think.

Regards,
Ron

Nah, not Martha Stewart. Nah, not K-Mart.

Julia! How could I have forgotten Julia? It's no wonder I didn't win. Of course, you'd have to serve a little wine with it.

This forum is awesome. More information than any knife magazine, fewer flames than other web-board I've ever been on, a huge collection of experts who woulod otherwise not be able to share info, and all these chances to win free stuff :-) Thanks Mike, and thanks to everyone else who makes this forum a great place to be. Ok, now I'm going to post more names to the Busse contest :-)
