Well..Thanks to some unforseen bills, and increased feed cost for Santa's Reindeer I finally figured out which of the Busse would end up being the only left if worse came to worse, and I had to choose only one.

It's a CG BATAC - all the rest are in someone elses happy home (or soon to be in route there).

Was a tough call, but all in all it is the most versatile of any blades I have had so far. On the positive end of the spectrum, My Wife finally understands now that Busse is more than a killer blade, but very liquidable when needed

Hopefully the BATAC will survive through Christmas, but if not, so be it ;) sniff, sniff

"This too shall pass" :)

That is one blade I really want to get my hands on, it will complete my Busse set, on a side note sorry to hear you had to sell your blades off. That is the nice thing about them, you can always sell them if need be

Silver - keep an eye on the exchange - I'm sure you'll get one.
Thanks for the kind thoughts, sorry if I came accross that as whining - no worries here, I'm just very thankful that had some stuff that I could turn to $ - It's all good & the Lord's taking care of us. & was gracious enough to let me keep one for the time being & for that I am most thankful.

If it weren't for my Laconico HWK+, I would have kept the BATAC myself. Heck, I still want another one. My last piece of INFI is my Squatch. That is due to bills, health, blah, blah.
Anyhow, it sounds like you made a good choice. No Regrets, right?;)

Well I'm sorry to hear you've had to liquidate your Busse's. I've owned quite a few Busse's over the past couple years (more than 2 dozen!) and the only ones I've disliked were the Sus Scrofa and the BATAC. There have been several designs I've never purchased either--like the Hell Razor, Jack Hammer and SARsquatch that did nothing for me. BATAC is the only one that I've once owned that I no longer have any versions of. It just has too much handle and too little blade for me. I think that's why it's great to have so many variations within the Busse range. Different strokes for different folks...
