Got my fifth Mnandi today so I thought I'd show off my modest collection. From top to bottom the inlays are: Bocote, African Blackwood, Snakewood, Giraffe Bone and Mammoth Ivory. I keep the Giraffe Bone and Mammoth safe in their boxes and carry the Bocote and Blackwood. I had intended to make the Snakewood my "Sunday go to meeting" knife but it will probably be hidden away with the others because the inlay is the most beautiful example of Snakewood that I have seen to date.

I like Cocobolo the best but aint never seen a fugly one.
I saw a Cocobolo the other week and came very close to getting it but I opted for the Bocote instead. Maybe one day, who knows. BTW, thanks for all the kind words fellows. ;)

Awesome collection!!! (insert green with envy smile)

For now I only have a bocote inlay. :D I hope to add another when funds permit. :(

Nice collection and that is a nice example of snakewood. I have one that looks similar to yours. I'll probably pick up an African Blackwood or Ebony mnandi one of these days. Anyone know the difference between the 2?

Sweet, nothing modest about it, all are great knives. I'm waiting on a snakewood myself, and that giraffe bone looks nice as well.

Thanks for the kind words fellows. Anybody else want to show of their Mnandi's while we're at it?? ;)
