Whew! Just got back in after running a flurry of errands, only one of which will anyone here care about. Namely-

I finally mailed out the blinkin' T-shirts!

I am very sorry for the most recent delay, but that's all over now. I thank everyone for their patience, and I really do hope you like your shirts. They are now in the sane, capable hands of the United States Postal Service.

Yaj, yours could not be sent via priority mail as the others, so it is coming by a comparably-priced (but much slower) method. I hope that's OK. And everyone, please let me know when they arrive! Especially let me know if they don't arrive. :grumpy:

Thanks again! :)

For those of us who attended, we can attest to these being top-quality shirts, with a good 1-color print (dithering is so good, you'd swear from viewing it a few feet away that its is a two-color print!) on front and back!

Thanks again Bry. They are so cool I hadta get two!

Keith

Y'all are too kind. :o I'm glad you liked them. But, I feel bad that most of the folks who are getting them through the mail, were also the first ones to pay. Its just not right that they have to wait at all, much less wait longer because I didn't have my act together as I should have. :( I am sorry, and if I may be permitted to handle next year's shirts, I promise I'll do better. :)

apologising for the late return of mPiSi's Pen knife on an etch/filework project.

Like that one, all you can do is hope that the end justifies the means...

...judging for how all the khon-goers put their shirts on soon after they got them, I'd say it does.

I'd like to apologise to the khon-gers fer getting started so late on the etching on Saturday. Next year, we could do some projects in tandem, so we can get the etching in for all the interested parties.

I'll also have a neat etch demo set up to outline the whole process, then we'll have at it.

Keith

Next year, Dan will have help in sharpening demos (Warren...you listening?)

I think it's also been voted that it will be a day longer. We were so busy learning and working that I didn't have much chance to just visit and talk with everyone.

I'm just glad it went well enough that folks started talking *during* the Khon about next years!
