Over the last 6 months I've moved into a new house and beat the h*ll out of my large Insingo. It has cut tape, cardboard, food, and even more than likely some dirt as I've used it to chop through roots in the back yard. Over this time of semi-abuse I've just hit it with a drop of Nano-Oil and a quick cleaning in the sink. It has been through multiple touch-ups on my Sharpmaker and always comes back to shaving sharp. While the steel has proven to be somewhat soft it has never chipped nor was it much work to bring back to shaving sharp. Today after over a half of a year of use I finally had to break it down and tear it apart for cleaning. It really was a joy to spend the time taking it down, cleaning, and using a light touch of Reeve grease. As I sit here and play with it I'm reminded just how amazing the construction of this knife is and after 15mins of cleaning it basically feels like a new knife. By the way I've had this particular Insingo since 2011 and other than some beautiful wear on the scales it is really still like new.
