That's nice.

I'd be happy to see you able to do that.

And if you'll notice, no plunge lines to deal with.

I'm really learning to open my mind to "art" knives
You Greg, Patrice, and others are appreciated by me. I like someone who defines their own Style and follows their muse. Bravo!

I really like the second one more than the first... it's very elegant. Looking forward to seeing your interpretation of it.

That's nice of you to say Brian! I wish I had time to make more and explore stuff.

Here is one of my favorite art maker. It's hard to get more "out there". ;)

I don't think I would describe Magnus' work as "out there", at least in the same vein as the other examples shown here. To me, his knives are extra-ordinary examples of finely executed knife design and craftsmanship.

When I posted the photo of the knife by Magnus I meant it as an example of something that could never be described as ordinary. In my opinion his knives are an example of an unusual style and exceptional craftsmanship. I have one of his knives coming in the not too distant future.

It seem rather obvious to me that all those examples were just cheap knock-off copies of YOUR style Greg. They're not as good as yours but you can't blame a guy for trying. ;-)

Look at Bertie Rietveld's work, stunning in both technical and aesthetic senses, literally stunning.

That's nice stuff too.
I'm looking at the guard & liking how simple straight laminations look on there.

But the thickness of the layers seems to change with the curve of the guard.
Very tricky.
