This is just plain amazing.... If I'm reading this article right, she had a son by this man; sired at 80+?? So, there's also a last "Son of a Confederate" still out there somewhere?? The article doesn't say he's deceased. I love things like this coming up as I've told my children (and anyone else that will listen...) that history is just over your shoulder really. Even 1000 years ago isn't all that much if you can wrap your mind around it .
