Just got this in from Andre.
This is an incredible kitchen knife. Slices, dices, cuts like the dickens, even chops a bit when asked.
It's really well balanced, especially for a 5" santoku platform, and sharp enough to cut soft white bread as well as soft tomatoes without squishing anything.
The textured and contoured G10 is grippy yet not abrasive, perfect for slippery conditions in the kitchen.
This is my first work from Andre and it won't be my last -- he's super to talk to, accommodating, AND last but not least his knives are amazing (and very surprisingly affordable.)
It also garnered the highest praise I can give it -- Mrs. B approved it for her kitchen.
Now I just need him to convince him to make a cleaver for her.
