I picked this up while at Ashokan from Andrew B. Porter,
know better as Andy Porter, the knife is a great little rascal
that will find much time on my belt.

Nicely formed handle as well as the blade, while it is a short knife
O1 steel blade is just at 2 7/8" long
overall is just about 6 1/2" long

Nice knife, Andy also had a nice wharncliff with cord wrapped handle
that was picked up by another fellow at Ashokan, he is just so very
clever with the cord wrap and knots in general!

They're both REALLY nice knives, but I'd hate to do the intricate Turkshead knots on the second one.

thanks Lucky, also the braiding that is after the turks head are single stranded as well
so you got a pot full of loose ends working there!!!
Amazing work and solid braiding for sure!

one of the ways I check edge geometry is to see how much effort it takes to press cut down
through material, usually leather, sometimes books and here the post-it pad ;)
Give your knives a try and see if they also can press cut down through material easily
some will just make a crease arcross the surface but never push the entire way through.

Thanks Keith, I've been toting this more the past few weeks,
such a great little knife, the oval shaped wood handle fits
well, my only mod that I may do would be to knock down
the sharply pointed start of the edge as I occasionally catch
that wicked little point onto a finger, smarts ;)
Cuts very well, handles very nice, what more could you ask for?
