Saw the pic of yours and have to ask, how long to get a couple?

By the way, thanks for the super fast shipment of the mean street...only one problem...my belt won't let go of it! haha

Sorry for my delay in responding to this one...must have overlooked it.

If I got enough orders, I could probably get Jerry to run some Apache's through the system....my knife is downstairs cause I was throwing it yesterday, but I will get it and post a close up pic and specs later...

I own ALOT of throwers and the Apache really
excels as a combo thrower/combat knife.

Here's an action pic of the Apache...specs are as follows

OAL: 13.5"
Weight: approx 16 oz.
Handle: cord wrapped
Steel: A-8
Blade Grind: convex
Edge Grind: convex

This is a blade thrower by design, but the balance point is close enough to center, allowing it to function as a handle thrower.

The ground and shaped pommel also increases the probability of a "stick" when throwing at a target of unknown distance. This feature was especially handy when I went hog hunting, because the target was always moving. This caused me to use the Apache as the blade of choice when I got within 12 feet of the critter.

I'm interested in the Apache. If you could get a ballpark price that would help. It seems like a really cool knife. I like to throw knives but I'm not that good, need practice.

BTW Andy how did you hurt your ankle on that Hog Hunt?

As far as your throwing improvement is concerned, spend some time on Bobby Branton's Knife Throwing Forum here at BladeForums. Bobby is an extremely accomplished thrower and can provide excellent suggestions to improve consistency and accuracy.

As for my ankle, when I was charged by the hog, it knocked me down an incline and I fractured it during the fall.
