Andy - Combat Basics in INFI?

I just received an interesting e-mail from a fellow who was wondering if any of the Combat Basics were ever made in original INFI and not modified INFI.

If so, how do you tell the difference?

Thanks for your question. The Basics were never made from standard INFI...only modified or M-INFI. I believe the way the folks at Busse Combat know the difference between the two is through a chemical identification test which is performed right on the bar stock.
