Andy, so many thanks to you.

I would have liked to spend some "off time" with you but we'll chat soon I'm sure.

Thanks for braggin' me up to whoever you bragged me up to (got the gist, missed the details). Sometimes I doubt my work but when I see what you do with my stuff it makes me feel great.

AND,
When I showed just after Madeline chose a blade with the glow yarn on it, it made my weekend. That was so cool. . .

Now tell us about the Russian gal and the t-shirt again.:p

Don't know anything about this specific instance, but Andy is one of the special folks a person is lucky enough to meet once or twice in his lifetime.

Quality person, quality knifemaker.

I'm biased, he's kinda 'family.' :)

He had a KPH at the show. REALLY nice ...

If I didn't already have a KPH, it would have been in my pocket, first thing.

We interviewed Andy at BLADE, and will be posting the video in the near future. Andy was great and the craftsmanship apparent in his work is amazing.

Wish I had picked up one of those cool Fiddleback cooking knives -

Oh well - I do have some cool Shadetree handles on a few knives

Andy is a good guy, funny, and has a good sense of humor. When 9 people come crashing in your room at 2am, bent on destruction, mayhem, and blackmail pics, he had a smile and a laff. I think he was still asleep though. :D

Yea I was getting ready to leave and I was going to take the 5 inch Padre, then somebody just came and got it, so I got one of the steaknives. I like it, I think it should be called a boning knife tho. Cant wait for deer season now. I usually forgo early season but I think that this year I will blast one right out of the gate just to see how the blade works!
