Just wanted to thank Andy for walking me through my first purchase of one of his knives. I had a boat load of questions and Andy answered all of them (even the stupid questions).

I was the one who scored the Recluse in 154cpm. Looking forward to getting my hands on the knife.

Guess I thought of another question. Any special precaution/care needed when using 154cpm ? I understand this type of steel is primarily made for cutting and slicing, but is it OK to use it to baton ?

Thanks again Andy you're a great guy and with your pleasant demeanor, skill and focus on the customer your business will do nothing but thrive. I'm sure I'll pick up a few more of your knives along the way.

God Bless you and yours

CONGRATS ON THE FBF PURCHASE!!!!!!!! I recently got my first one, not my last by a long damn shot. Next up, Terrasaur. After that, I may wait and get one of Andy's new designs, or a Bushcrafter. Andy was my first custom maker knife, and I really don't want to go anywhere else to get them, 'cept Iz, but that's different.

Good job on that score, you definetely had some comp gettin' it. Moose

That knife should be fine to baton.

Don't pry with it though. Prying with a Fiddleback voids the warranty.
