If you are interested I recommend the benchmade 51 for a starter. Very light and easy to learn on, and very well-built for actual use. If you need something more economical then maybe something from Bear Ops. if you can find one their models in the 4in range they flip pretty well to learn on.

Me, I went for a BM 62 for my first one...which I honestly don't recommend. Very heavy, and my fingers were in a lot of pain for a long time. I'm going to get a 51 to learn some of the more advanced stuff so I don't end up breaking anything :D

Lots of fun though, even though I haven't been at it long.

Since this is a knife enthusiast forum, and most of us are familiar with Angela Jolie, I doubt anyone was expecting anything other than a video of Miss Jolie flipping a butterfly knife. :)

I've tried some moves using the Spyderco Spyderfly (admittedly not the best one to learn on) but I'm not very good at it. I certainly can't make it look easy or natural.
 
Balisong twirling is great, but I wouldn't want to lose a finger for a party trick.
 
Lose an entire finger? Doubtful but a chunk of skin on the other hand, maybe. Its the price you pay to be as b a as angelina jolie. Balis are really my only option since brad pit is taken, lip implants are out of the question, and I'm to young to start adopting foriegn kids.
