anybody catch it?,...she's bonified knife collector. A woman after my own heart. Baba Walter's asked her about her knife collection. AJ stated she still collects knives, particularly knives from different cultures and that she keeps em' locked up away from her kiddo. What she chooses to do with them is another story (a literal knifenut if you ask me). Nevertheless, she's not with Billy Bob no more. ;)

By the way, first post, long time lurker. I EDC a Spydie Native and wouldn't have it any other way.

huh? What did she do with them? Self-mutilate a pic of her new beau on her chest? I shudder to think . . . .

Yeah, she's been a knife nut for a long time. Me and alot of other bastids here know too :D She has also got to be one of the coolest chicks on the planet! :)

thanks for the link. of course i contained a lot of information i didnt need to know.
i feel for that poor child.

Gia... now that was a movie ;) (plenty-o-skin)

Some people, especially those from dysfunctional families, take a long time to sort out their lives. I think Jolie has worked through a lot of her problems and is a lot less messed up than she was a few years ago. I'm always glad to see someone making progress.

AJ seemed cool enough, not too nutz, lol, and a cutie to boot.

i thought it was strange baba walters spoke of collecting knives in a negative way, like she was doing something strange/wrong by collecting them, i got that impression anyway (baba "but WHY knives??? and a concerned look on her face????) why not??

nothing wrong w/collecting knives, now people wanna make it sound like "guns" shudder.

buncha crap imho

Yeah, but dumb enough to get a tattoo of the name of someone she'd end up *leaving*. Gee, society hasn't seen enough of that that everyone shouldn't *know better*! Some people just can't learn from others' experience. I mean, isn't it part of the collective human consciousness that getting tattooed with someone's name is doomed to be REGRETTED?! It's kinda like when people try heroin. Do they honestly think that they're the one person who'll just do it once or twice and be in total control of it?

Anyway, Jolie gets my thumbs down for what she did to an otherwise shweeeet body with those *gawdawful* tattoos. How about that big black leaning cross right over her...nether region? What an ugly thing to have to stare at when you're... uhm, nevermind.

I know this is going to sound stupid, but, whatever......
Did anyone happen to notice that stupid looking skull in the belt-buckle she was wearing in the first tomb raider?
With all the money they spent on it, the least they could do is find something better.

I had heard a while back that she was a bonofide collector, which was why I bothered to put her quote from "Gia" in my sig. line...not a bad flick, by the way. I think most people have had a loony tune playing in their brain at some time or another. A guy I know actually burned a tattoo of his ex's name off his shoulder with a Bic lighter. Nasty scar.:barf:

Jeff, what if she got the tatto removed, then to cover the scar got a tatto with your name on it. Would you still call it "gawdawful" ? lol

Everyone makes mistakes, everyone has problems. All I know is that she seems to be really laid back and likes to have fun and is EXTREMELY hot and most importantly LOVES KNIVES!

I think judging someone simply because they are different is out of line.
There are a lot of people who are both knife and firearms enthusiasts who have what we may consider "less than desirable" fetishes or attitudes, such as S&M - I would be willing to bet that plenty of forumites play that scene, or some other one that others may find distasteful. At the same time this can be psychoanalyzed any number of ways, to attribute this disfunction or that dysfunction as a "causative" for such "behaviour". Some people like to blood-play, so what? What business of ours is it how people do what they do, provided both parties are willing and both have a good time (to their definition)?

IMO - we all can be a little nuts some of the time, and can come off as nuts a lot more of the time - especially those of us who have grown up in a less than ideal situation, with emotional damage being incurred - strangeness in how we feel a need to connect with people seems to be par for the course. Its not a bad thing, or even a big deal - and, despite negative comments I keep hearing, I dont think it presents a danger to others, such as children.
My experiance with people like this, who have made it this far and not gone downhill into drugs and booze, is that they are down to earth, very caring and very providing when it comes to others, especially children. Negative life experiance makes us want to make sure no one else ever has to experiance such things. My opinion is that she is a sane person and a most likely a good mother.

Besides - she's f*ckin' hot and she likes knives! whats left to bitch about? ;)
